Course Selection Interviews - 2018

Course Selection Interviews for 2018 will be held on 14 and 15 September.

  • 14th September 2.00pm - 4.00pm
  • 15th September 9.00am - 3.30pm

The aim of the Course Selection Interview is for each student to confirm their course selection for 2018. The course selection sheet will be issued to students in the week starting 4 September. This sheet must be brought to the interview.

Prior to the Course Selection Interviews students should be discussing their subject options and longer term pathways with parents, caregivers and whānau, Hui Ako teachers, subject teachers and the Learning Pathways Department.

School will finish at 1.30pm on Thursday 14 September, the buses will depart at 1.40pm with the exception of the rural bus which will depart at the usual time of 3.20pm

The library will be available for any student catching the rural bus.

There will be no timetabled classes on Friday 15 September - there will be NO school buses running on this day.

Students must attend their interviews preferably with a parent/caregiver.

If a parent/caregiver is unable to attend, students are still expected to attend their interview. They are not required to be in uniform on Friday 15 September.

In preparation for this all Year 9 - 12 students have been emailed a PDF of their Learning Programmes Handbook. Parents, caregivers and whānau can access a copy of these handbooks HERE.  

Hui Ako teachers will be scheduling an appointment time via email.  Please contact the Hui Ako teacher if the time scheduled needs to be changed.
