Aotea College is looking to appoint a full time Residential Senior Groundskeeper to join our property team. The position is 40 hours per week on a permanent basis from early 2018. You will assist us to provide safe and inviting facilities and grounds for our students and staff. As a member of the property team you will be required to be part of the on-call roster responding to security and emergency issues when they arise.
Aotea College is undergoing major redevelopment that will see our considerable grounds area significantly change, in use and design, over the next few years. You will need to be proactive, have a vision for the future who can work both within a team and independently.
Your experience, can do attitude and strong work ethic will be key in this role, along with being physically fit and an excellent communicator with a sense of humour.
An on site three bedroom home may be provided to the successful applicant as part of the employment package at a token rental. However, if you prefer to retain your current living arrangements we are prepared to negotiate this aspect.
