Aotea College is looking for a new Director of Sports. The position is 40 hours per week, term time only from mid January, with an additional week each school holiday break as required. Some work will be required outside school hours to attend games, events, meetings and develop strong working relationships in the wider college community.

You will lead, manage and enhance the college sports programme to provide the opportunity for students to develop their skills, connections and confidence to reach their potential.

Our preferred candidate will have experience in this field, able to build relationships, manage resources (including finances and staff) and strong strategically with a vision for the future. Experience in coaching teams and the development and training of coaches would be valued skills. Aotea College is undergoing major redevelopment that will significantly change our grounds and facilities, and may impact the operation of our sports programme in the short term, so your ability to think outside the box and plan is paramount.

Co-curricular Administrator

We have created a new full time position at Aotea College to provide administrative assistance to our Sports Direct and Head of Performing Arts co-curricular programmes. You will also assist in the collation of documents and information for education outside the classroom processes prior to submission for approval.

This is an opportunity for you to showcase your abilities as an excellent administrator. You need to be

organised with an eye for detailan excellent communicator able to deal with a wide variety of peopleable to think outside the box a problem solverconfident in developing and maintaining proceduresable to maintain databases, confident in the use of google documents and microsoft office productsable to work independently

The position is 40 hours a week, term time only starting in the middle of January each year, with a week each school holidays (if required).
