Facilities

Aotea College Te Manawa (auditorium) – with tiered seating for 381 people including 4 wheelchair spaces and a large stage area, complete with full front and back curtains as well as side wings, this is a great venue to hold dance shows, church services, prize givings etc. A lighting system is available to rent with a basic white wash to full coloured stage lighting. Provision of an experienced lighting technician may be required. The  sound system comes with bluetooth, AUX or HDMI connections. Larger groups can be catered for with hiring of additional classrooms around Te Manawa.

Aotea College Gymnasium is a full size basketball court with wall mounted backboard hoops, and some sideline space. The floor is also marked for netball, volleyball and badminton. The mezzanine provides basic boxed seating, behind a glass balustrade, for spectators and supporters. Some equipment is available for hire including a ceiling mounted projector and sound system.

Aotea College AstroTurf rain or shine is the perfect facility to hold most training, games and fitness sessions. The turf is marked for – basketball, volleyball, netball and hockey (half size) with a running track around the perimeter. Outdoor floodlit lighting is available for evening bookings.

Aotea College Staffroom capacity for 80 people and includes full kitchen facilities. Ideal for small cafe style meetings and gatherings with a television set and whiteboard available for use.

Aotea College Grounds and Courts there is a football field, two rugby fields, two  practice fields,  three concrete courts marked out for netball and tennis. Lighting is available for the practice field and courts to accommodate evening training and games.
