Aotea College is looking for a new member to join our Property Team. You will predominantly work with our Property Team Leader looking after our considerable grounds. Aotea College is a large school in Porirua, with a growing roll and further development ahead. This is a full time, 40 hours per week position starting as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will be passionate about their work, have a sense of humour, eager to contribute, to take ownership of what they are doing and enjoy working in a team. You will get paid to lead an active lifestyle.
Ideally you will have experience in a variety of skills and tasks such as
● Grounds knowledge and experience
● General hand duties
You must be able to show you are someone who:
● is keen, reliable, enthusiastic, energetic and doesn’t mind working in all kinds of weather
conditions
● has a can do attitude, who takes pride in what they do
● is able to carry out a variety of property and gardening tasks including weeding, mowing
and more!
● has a practical mind to approach DIY and maintenance, organised and efficient
● can work easily with others or alone
● a current NZ driver’s licence and able to drive a manual vehicle
